Gretchen is an aggressive tomboyish alligator, with long blond hair and has a grudge on Bean Scouts. The official Cartoon Network press kit describes her as "ever-hungry" and desiring to eat "everyone, especially happy monkeys." She was said to have a crush on Edward. Gretchen is the most violent Squirrel Scout, but like the rest of them respects Patsy as her leader. This is shown as it seems that Patsy is one of the few people who can stop and control her violent attacks. When someone really anger's her she says she will "get them", apperantly meaning breaking at least two of their limbs, though if anyone helps that person she'll put them in a full-body cast.
