Daffy Duck is a American black duck with a large bill and white strip around his neck. Daffy's voice is characterized by his signature slobbery, exaggerated lisp. "It seemed to me that such an extended mandible would hinder his speech, particularly on words containing an s sound. Thus 'despicable' became 'desthpicable.'"(Blanc). He is a wacky, zany and clever schemer who is very greedy. In addition to his manic personality and sly deviousness, Daffy has a split personality. He may be a manic, explosive, and unpredictable, engaging in adventures that seemed outlandish even to him, or more self-analytical, competitive, peevish, paranoid, and neurotic. He may be a lunatic vigilante in one short but a greedy gloryhound in another. However, Daffy's most common role is that of a conartist, Door-to-Door salesmen, attempting to sell most anything to people, never taking no for an answer and being as persistent and annoying as necessary. Daffy is known for his wacky routine of jumping into the water, hopping around, and yelling, "Woo-hoo! Woo-hoo! Woo-hoo! Hoo-hoo! Woo-hoo!" Daffy can be a wild and zany screwball, perpetually bouncing around the screen with cries of "Hoo-hoo! Hoo-hoo!" As brilliant with his mouth as he was with his battiness, Daffy was often paired with Porky Pig as his straight man. When paired with Bugs the arrogant Daffy becomes intensely jealous and determined to steal back the spotlight, while Bugs either remained indifferent to the duck's jealousy or used it to his advantage. Daffy's desire is to achieve stardom at any cost, even that of Elmer Fudd repeatedly shooting the duck's bill off. Daffy's famous catchphrase is, "You're despicable!" , often said to an enemy when bested.

Duck Dodgers
Duck Dodgers (played by Daffy Duck) was accidentally frozen for over three centuries. He was revived by Dr. I.Q. Hi in the middle of the 24th century. Through scheming and lies, he managed to trick everyone into believing he was a 21st-century hero. In reality, he was only a water boy for a football team. He is arrogant, selfish, greedy, lazy, cowardly, gullible, and not particularly intelligent. He occasionally displays surprisingly high levels of heroism and competence, suggesting that he is not quite as daft as he appears to be, although he mostly succeeds through dumb luck and the work of the Eager Young Space Cadet. Always out to 'save the day', Duck Dodgers seems more concerned with looking good than doing any actual good. A cowardly schemer who loves the sound of his own voice, big-headed Duck Dodgers shoots for the stars but he usually misses and vaporises something precious instead.
